A Dream
Our owner, Carlos F. Ramirez, started as an employee in 2005 and became the owner in 2013. Since childhood, he dreamed of opening his restaurant and taking out his recipes in plain sight. Now he made his dream come true by being the owner of Tomales Deli & Cafe, surprising his visitors with his recipes.
Our flavor
We believe that the most delicious dishes are prepared with love. Our products are organic from local companies around our small town. Our recipes and sides are prepared fresh daily, and our salads are prepared daily. And yes, it’s a lot of hard work. But for us, that’s important. Those extra steps ensure that every bite is as wholesome and flavorful as the last. And this is how we show our love for visiting us.

A new Start
In 2020, we had a new logo and modernized the dining area with a new look and feel. We are also making sure that all safety protocols are met and exceed the standards of the local health department. The new and improved space will provide customers with a warm and inviting atmosphere, as well as an improved menu with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are excited to offer our customers a better experience.
Local Artist Exhibition
My restaurant is unique in that it allows local artists to exhibit their work in the dining room. The paintings are hung throughout the restaurant, giving customers the opportunity to admire them while they eat. Some of the paintings are even available for purchase, so customers can take home a piece of art to remember their experience. This is an excellent way to showcase local talent and give customers a unique dining experience. It also helps to support the local art community by giving artists an outlet to showcase their work.
